Holly’s academic career started with graduating from Royal Holloway, University of London with an Honours degree in Physical Geography and Geology, followed by a PhD in ‘optical properties of snow and sea-ice – a field and modelling study’. She completed her teaching qualification at Canterbury Christ Church University and is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. She is an individual with a passion for studying the world around us through Science.
Holly worked in multiple comprehensive schools before accepting a Head of Chemistry role in Sevenoaks. More recently, Holly has taken on the role of Head of Science at a leading Kent Independent School. Holly has further experience as an examiner for GCSE Chemistry with Pearson (Edexcel), and has a particular expertise in both GCSE Science and A level Chemistry
Graduating from York University with an Honours degree in History, Steve completed his teaching qualification at Canterbury Christ Church University. An individual with a real passion for education, and educational research, Steve recently completed a Masters degree in Education at King’s College London. He is also a member of the Chartered College of Teaching.
Steve started his teaching career at one of the best performing Grammar Schools in Kent, before accepting a Head of Humanities role in Sevenoaks. More recently, Steve has taken on the role of Assistant Headteacher at a leading Kent Independent School. Steve has further experience as an examiner for GCSE and A-Level History with both AQA and Pearson (Edexcel), and has a particular expertise in both GCSE and A-Level education.
